The third day of the Track Cycling World Cup, hosted by Egypt at the International Cycling Track at Cairo Stadium from 14 to 17 March, kicks off this afternoon under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
Today’s competition will witness the participation of 4 Egyptians: Shahd Saeed. In the Sprint race, Hussein Nasser and Abderrahmane Imbabi in the Keren race, and Youssef Zaki in
Aluminum race.
Today’s competitions are divided into two periods, the morning period witnesses the ammonium qualifiers for men, the women’s sprint, then the first round of the men’s kerin, then the preliminary round for women’s sprint, followed by the men’s keren rerun, then the price of the women’s sprint final, then the quarter-finals of the men’s kerin and the women’s sprint, and the rerun race for the men’s keren quarter-finals, and the morning competitions conclude with the madison women’s race qualifiers.
The evening period starts at six in the evening, where the competitions of the Scrubach race for aluminum for men will be held, then the semi-finals of the women’s sprint, and the men’s sulfur, followed by the tempo race for aluminum for men, then the Madison final for women, and the final of the women’s sprint, followed by the elimination race for aluminum for men, then the final of the keren for men, and the day’s competitions conclude with a points race for aluminum for men.
