The competitions for the first day of the track-bike world cup, hosted by Egypt, were concluded at the Cairo International Cycling Stadium from 14 to 17 March, under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

The first day’s competitions saw the creation of the women’s and men’s band-chasing qualifiers, where the women’s competitions resulted in the qualification of 8 teams to the first lead role and the eight qualifying ones being: New Zealand, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Britain, Ireland, and the United States of America, in the first to eighth positions respectively.

The first-round competitions for the band chase competition are held during the morning period, tomorrow, Wednesday, the second day of the tournament.
