Dr. Wajiya Azzam, Chairman of the Organizing High Committee of the Cairo Track World Cup, President of the Egyptian and African Union and First Vice-President of the International Federation, confirmed that the first day of the tournament is strong competitions confirming the high level of teams participating in the tournament, which reflects on the level of the game globally.
The competitions for the first day of the track-bike world cup, hosted by Egypt, ended with the international bicycle track at Cairo Stadium from 14 to 17 March, under the auspices of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
The first day’s competitions saw the creation of women’s and men’s band-chasing qualifiers, with women’s and men’s competitions leading to the qualification of 16 first-round teams.
